Each of the students received a scholarship award in the amount of $1,500 to be used for tuition and books in the 2008-2009 school year. The Volunteer Association has been awarding these scholarships for almost two decades. The criteria for awarding scholarships are based upon each student’s GPA, family income, and dependants. The funds are received from revenue generated in the hospital volunteer gift shop and other fund raisers.
